Off-Site Modular Construction.
Airspace Group is a specialist in off-site modular construction methods, which are significantly faster and less disruptive than traditional construction.
Off-site construction is better for the environment, better quality and delivered in a quicker time frame than traditional construction.
Scaffolding of the building is not required for the rooftop development. The construction can be completed with the use of parapet scaffolding only, avoiding the need to obscure windows on existing buildings.
Modular off-site construction allows for new apartments to be built in a precise, clean factory environment meaning a very high finish. In addition to these benefits, modular off-site construction also results in less waste and greater efficiency.
The process involves careful surveying of the existing roof and meticulous planning of the proposed development before the modules are lifted into place.
Once the modules are fully designed, they are built off-site, before being delivered to site and craned into place. It is possible to crane an entire apartment in a single day and very little additional work is required on site before the apartments are finished fully.
